Experience
Ever since I was young I have enjoyed art as a creative outlet. I began my academic journey at East Los Angeles College studying Graphic Design. After receiving my Associate in Arts for Art Graphic Communications in 2019, I transferred to California State University, Los Angeles. There I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts in Art with an Emphasis on Amination. My focus while in school was on character design, but I am comfortable across various mediums of art and love to learn new ways to create!
My love for creative detail led me to my first internship at Siren Arts Production, where I eventually joined the crew. At Siren Arts Production I:
-
Supported red carpet press and live stream events for campaigns tied to Barbie, The Super Mario Bros., and Migration.
-
Handled solo and small-team shoots including location scouting, lighting setup, and directing talent.
-
Operated professional video and audio gear for clients including The Society of Composers & Lyricists and City of Pasadena.
-
Served as lead camera operator for The Institute for the Redesign of Learning’s 50th Anniversary Live Event and Marathon.
-
Assigned roles, coordinated equipment, and managed final content rendering for delivery
From there I began my work with Pasadena Media, serving the Pasadena community by providing opportunities for residents and non-residents to engage in media production, learn production skills, and contribute to public television programming. As a non-profit organization, they program Pasadena's four public and community access channels, empowering individuals to share their unique perspectives and stories, while promoting media literacy, and civic engagement in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles region." As a crew member I:
-
Operate as 1st Assistant Camera (AC), supporting technical setup and focus pulls on set.
-
Provide creative input during shoots, including blocking and improvised direction.
-
Worked on the documentary Arroyo Now – Rise from the Ashes, operating camera and assisting with interviews.
-
Rotated roles including Camera Operator, Teleprompter Tech, and Audio Technician for community TV and live stream programs.
-
Maintained gear logs and supported producers with lens swaps, slating, battery/card management.
-
Selected Projects: Divorce Talk, Transplant Life, Donny D’ Soul Session, Post Conventional Psychology, Miniature Car Racing, Being Groovy
